His performance in no way influenced the outcome of the match, but he still had a poor game, waving his card about way too much and the Mascherano booking is arguably one of the most ridiculous you'll see this season. He also neglected to add on the full minute he wasted telling Lucas and Huddlestone off. But we could still be playing now and wouldn't have scored.

The game was 2-1, his performance denied us a penalty so therefore it did influence the outcome. Whether we deserved a point is a separate discussion but the fact that we were denied a clear opportunity to level the scores because of the referee's ineptitude means his performance influenced the game. No baring at all. It was a penalty but how many chances did we create? One? Two? Not really good enough is it? Perhaps if we played anywhere near our best we wouldn't have to rely on penalty appeals. Fans blaming referees for everthing really gets on my nerves.
