I think people marching in solidarity with oppressed people is a good thing. I mean what decent person wouldn’t ?

Im guessing those being oppressed get a warm fuzzy knowing people are marching in support. I know people mean well but it wont change a thing on the ground for those poor bastards.

It's more the awareness it raises and shows those with the power to actually do something that the people aren't happy that nothings being done. But I guess you knew that.

Colour me cynical but I think those in power won't be that interested. Its a pretty kak world today.

"Tell me you're a Corbynite without telling me that you're a Corbynite"

Honestly remarkable how they manage to avoid ever criticising the Taliban. Or any other Islamists/terror groups, for that matter.

The Taliban are the victims here, plain to see.

Where does he say that exactly?

I could have sworn he mentions protecting refugees?

Sort of implied when he says the crisis is the result of evil Westerners trying to bring things like democracy and education to Afghanistan rather than the medieval shitbags going around murdering and raping schoolgirls.
