Luis Suarez

According to the Spurs forum Sunderland want Crouch. 'Arry is trying to unload Pavlyuchenko onto them instead though.

Once either of those has gone it will free up a space in their squad for Suarez.

Spurs will get rid of Crouch and Pav, neither are good enough, and the display against United will hasten Crouch's departure.

They need a more mobile targetman striker who is also a decent Premiership goalscorer to compliment the likes of Modric and VDV, which is why they want Carrol.

Crouch has a dreadful goals record in the Premiership, and it's getting worse. One goal in 22 games.

But lets bring him back 'coz he's sound!

In fariness to him, he was a good option for us when we had him.

He's been dreadful for Spurs though, seems happy enough just to collect his wages and be photographed outside clubs. I could probably think of 25/30 strikers I'd take from English clubs before him now.

Carroll has had 6 months in the Premier League so I don't think he qualifies as a decent Premier League goalscorer just yet. That's not to say he won't become that because he might well do so, but at the moment he's very much flavour of the month.

Anyway, transfer windows are made for 'Arry. Every 6 months he says he's not expecting to bring anybody in, yet by the time the window shuts he's spent yet more money the club don't actually have on half a new squad.

If he choses Spurs, a smaller club than he's at right now, then he isn't the sort of player we want anyway. Can't really lose.

Why would Suarez choose Tottenham over us ?

There's just no way i could see it.

They are not likely to finnish top 4 this season, he cannot play in the CL again this season.

With Tottenham missing out on CL football for next season which club is more likely to recover from it, us or them ?

Redknapp with his signings will fuck that club up.

Spurs really looking to replace most of their attacking options. 'Arry is mental! Have spurs to much money to be bankrupted by melty face?

Well they are owned by a sports investment and management firm similar to ours tbf. Raising money wouldn't be much of a problem for them...

Yeah, he's doing a really good job of fucking them up. First ever qualification for the CL in their history, and has built and nurtured their best squad for decades, with superb talents like Bale, VDV, Modric being supported by quality right through the squad such as Gallas, Dawson, Defoe, Krancjar, Corluka, Basson, Palacios, Huddlestone, Kaboul, Corluka, Lennonm, Essou-Ekotto et al.

The only thing he hasn't got is a good striker, which is what he's trying to fix.

People need to wake up if they think we are a bigger draw then spurs to all players. They are in the CL, and are well placed to be in it again next year. We finished 7th last year and to outside eyes are very much on course to finisih a lot lower then that this year.

Signing for us could be seen as having a lack of ambition, not the other way around.
