I know it’s the same date / week every year, our fixtures around the Quater are annoying…

…I’m looking forward to it already, it could be a great couple of weeks, just that it’s a super busy schedule and feel we’ll prioritise the league games over WHU (which, IMO, is right).

Hopefully we do our job in the EL and can start Chambers, Scanlon, Doak, McConnell, Clarke, Quansah etc v LASK & Union SG

I reckon we’ll play a strong side against West Ham at this stage. Similar to last night with 2 or 3 more of our main XI.

This was our line up v Leicester at the same stage…

We had a more challenging European competition then though, and we’ve a superior squad this time around.

Also, after a trophy-less year, Klopp will see how close this silverware already is.

Another way of looking at it is that once we get back from the short hop to Belgium on the night of the 14th, we don't have to leave the North West until after New Year. Comes to something when I am having to tell you to be more optimistic, Scott.

And the 3 toughest games are at night at Anfield.

Burnley though, that's a completely different world.

We’ll see, I hope you’re right. We should be winning this from here.

You misunderstood me, I’m not pessimistic about it, I’m looking forward to it, it’s exciting, we could be flying by then - I’m just pointing out it’s a hectic schedule.

No idea, but makes sense I suppose, and just put training back an hour or two this morning.

I saw a clip somewhere where Klopp was saying about getting the coach back. He was saying to someone (journos?) ‘Anyone want to join us? We have food and TV!’
