I wonder if Mbappe noticed that tonight.  Silly move if he goes there, La Liga having a bit of a nightmare, he could waste his best years.

Mbappe's best move would be to come here for 3 or 4 years then move to Real if he still wanted. Not sure many fans would be too happy with FSG if he did that though and moved at the end of 4 years.

I don't think Mbappe would cut it here in our system with the closing down.  I think he's already got a pretty high opinion of himself and how he plays the game, he doesn't strike me as wanting to change that.

As an aside, I think Juventus are dark horses for the CL this year.  Vlahovic has given a solid team a dangerous edge.

I reckon we could make a solid profit too if we did that.

I'm hoping this beating City gave out tonight will unnerve Inter knowing we're the only team keeping any parity with City, especially after what we did to the likes of Atlanta and AC Milan at their home grounds.

Back page in the Express says Lisbon Lions, fucksake no comparison.

Haha! Don’t tell me you don’t see the clear similarity between Man City’s achievement last night and Celtic’s historic success in 1967.

The Celtic team all lived in the Glasgow area. Most of the City team had probably never been to Manchester in their lives before clocking on for the oil cheats.

The Celtic players were all born within 30 miles of Glasgow. The City players are all ambassadors of some shell companies addressed to PO Boxes within the Abu Dhabi city limits.
