Caught a bit of Rees mogg at that crackpot function on the news saying there should be a big state,it should come from the individual.

Given half a chance these cunts would live in a gated community whilst the rest of us would try to survive in a real life hunger games.

In other news people queued all night for the chance to register with a dentist in Portsmouth.

Perfectly normal

That definitely smacks of the extremity preparing for a takeover of what's left of the party after this year's elections, with a view to shaping it in their image in time for 2029 elections.

Incidentally, Merseyside's only Tory MP - Damien Moore, the Southport MP who voted in favour of shit on the beaches - was in attendance at Dudstock.

If the Tory candidate for the next election in Epsom is anything to go by the direction of the Tories is hurtling towards the gutter.

A big pro Trump fan, in a safe seat.

Bold choice there from the local Conservative association.

Is it Turdsy ?

Going full Trump won't work in Britain, it's just not the same kind of country. The evangelical 'FBI is the beast' style patter is a big part of that.

The 'MAGA' style RNLI hating EDL Britain First types have something in common with their American counterparts, the vast majority have never served their country in any form. They think wearing a Help For Heroes t-shirt is the equivalent of Field Marshall epaulettes and everyone else is a cowardly woke lefty. They celebrate the poppy completely ignorant to the fact that most Tommies wouldn't have wiped their snot on them and their attitudes to life.

The messages from those Tory shit cunts seems a little confused, en masse they will rock in their seats and mutter about Labour not having a plan whenever somebody shoves a camera in their face while also deriding the fact that Labour have abandoned the plan they were previously telling us didn't exist.

It's not really a stable base for a party to survive on though, long term. The more they try and appeal to flat earthers and oddballs, the less support they'll get from the moneyed middle classes.

Yeah, in fact our voting system ensures they won't have representation. It's basically just the 5-10% of nutters in each constituency. As you say, they'll lose more in the floating centrist cunt vote.

I imagine most of the Tory mps interactions are with the Conservative constituency members, their fellow mps and lobbyists / donors / think tanks, so probably feel that 90% of the country is in line with this shit.

Probably why they gape like guppies when they are confronted on TV with a different outlook.

The modern Tory MP is a by-product of our modern society. If you look at how most people used to get rich, they used to own land/property/factories etc, 'make' stuff and what have you. Now you get rich through YouTube, podcasts, being a self help guru or just generally being a bottom feeder.

The Ken Clarkes of this world sat on mountains of family cash have got far better things to do with their time, but the 30p Lee types, Liz Truss and the rest of them make money by peddling crackpot shit to crackpots. They probably don't believe it any more than your average GB News 'guest panellist' or Russell Brand does, but it's all they've got going for them. They've literally nothing else to them that would enable them to make money. Osborne was perhaps the best example of it, genuinely shit at everything he's ever done yet gets a half day here and a half day there, editing papers and 'consulting' for banks - all of which he's shit at, he knows it, they know it - but it's money in the pocket.

I'd say Liz Truss believes it as she's a moron
