This is what happens when you basically play an out his depth kid at right back who’s been woefully out of form all season.    Refuse to give your back up a game who’s a better player and shouldn’t be the back up anyway.

 

You come up against a top side and can’t trust the kid to play there and end up having to play you’re centre half there to be more solid.  You couldn’t call him Klopps blind spot because he’s clearly aware of how much of a liability he can be but it’s a problem.

The refs been fine. We’ve just been awful. None of our players could handle handle their pressing. Even those I’d normally associate with good close control e.g., Bobby and Gini. It’s been a bit of an eye opener for me.

Realistically tonight was always going to be an uphill struggle and Klopps team selection/tactics have been woeful. The ref hasn't helped us either but that's no excuse. The Napoli game at Anfield was always going to be the game that matters.

This first half has been totally on Klopp. Amongst all the accolades he is getting for our league campaign, he has also been squarely at fault for several of our problems in Europe this season.
