Get in, well done Mark! Was always one of my favourite players in the early 2000s, never thought he'd win the title again. What a great comeback story.

Ditto. 

Absolutely brilliant final, almost unbearable tension at times.  Chuffed to fuck for Williams, gutted for a fellow Scot in Higgins who gave it 110% in that last session.  Got to get used to coming in from work now and turning the TV on to find no fucking snooker..........

Just as a discussion point, and something to chew over, Before the Tournament started, in my view, the 5 greatest players to pick up a Cue (that I've seen play) were,

Hendry

O' Sullivan

S Davis

Reardon

J Higgins.

 

After that I think I'd move John Higgins up one and now Williams is firmly in the top 10.

I'd go with that list. White would have made it if he could have snagged a couple of world's. Unlucky to have met Hendry at his peak in all those finals.
