Kudos to whoever recommended this to me. Really enjoying it. Being a soft-core gamer I've got it on low difficulty and am just enjoying dossing about collecting things and exploring. Haven't done much of the main game yet 6 hours in

Young lad has Fifa 23 on the switch. He wants to play ultimate team, does he need a paid membership to do that? Haven't had set up to.play weirdos all the over the world and can't figure it out. Any help appreciated.

As far as I’m aware I don’t think so. Worth nearing in mind  the Switch version of FIFA is known as legacy edition so it’s basically FIFA from 3 or 4 years ago so I’m not sure how that works across other platforms. Playing amongst switch owners would be fine though.

Really enjoying the Switch at the minute. The new Mario Kart courses are ace, and I'm well into the SNES and Megadrive stuff.

I'm playing the ones on the online service. Streets of Rage 2 and Golden Axe! Just wish there were more sports games, but I guess it's all to do with who has the rights etc.

EA Sports ice hockey game is a stone cold classic. It will never get old. The one that used to come on the same cartridge as Madden NFL.

I’ve heard it’s practically unplayable but Xbox version is a doddle.

Haven't bothered with it tbh. I've got the remakes on the PS3 and Wii, would rather play them.

There are some handhelds that can emulate Switch so presumably aimed at those.

Had this delivered the other day but I finally got around to starting Pokémon-Let’s Go Pikachu and I’m deep into it. Probably two hours or so left and I’ll have virtually completed it. 
 

Nostalgia overload. It’s essentially the same game as the original Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow that first came out on the GameBoy, only with updated graphics. It’s boss for those around my age who were into it back then.

I wasn't really that impressed with the last zelda game. It's one of those where if I had a shit and named it Zelda IGN would give it a 10. The last one was decent but I guess the hype I heard before I played it made me think this isn't all that.

Weapon degradation did my head in, same with the climbing mechanic.
