Really? He's improving in every game whilst being played woefully out of position. There's being critical and there's just downright being cunts. I like him. He looks more confident. He seems to have a better shot on him than most in our team (not hard) and has speed. He's not a wing back, though, so you can't really blame him for defensive lapses. Not sure why Moreno doesn't get to play wing back.

I think the complete opposite. He looked far from clueless, everything he attempted showed intent, more often than not his passes always found their target, he got up and down the pitch really well and looked a real threat, first half especially.

 

He was far from ineffective, actually quite confused about how someone could come away with that opinion to be honest.

 

 

I thought the only difference to his game was he showed a bit more of a willingness to run with the ball. His passing was poor, he either played a safe ball backwards or gave it away, and he got caught in possession frequently.

It was obvious that the percentage move was to bring Moreno on as left wing back, and subbing Lallana and moving Markovic to play with Coutinho behind Sterling. Markovic and Sterling seemed to have a great understanding at times. Lallana was a demon at closing down, but all too often I thought he was ponderous in possession and was never able to beat a man in dangerous positions.

 

Bringing on Lambert was bat-shit crazy.

If people can't see his progression from game to game then they must be blind (not daley). It's there for all to see. The first games he played for us he went missing, didn't wan the ball, wouldn't shoot, wouldn't put a tackle in.

Now he is doing all those things. Even wen he gets the ball now the crowd lift. And he's being played out of position - and he has glorious hair.

 

Seriously what more do you want from a 20 year old we've just signed and is making his prem debut. Some people writing him off already need to get a grip. The type of supporter I dread sitting by during the game. Negative and bitter.

I haven't given Markovic any shit (neither did I give Sterling any either), I just didn't think he played well and posted why. This place is fucking ridiculous at times.

 

And Spybee, how about arguing the point rather than just negging? It's pathetic. Especially given how much you've cried about it in the past.
