Yeah, apologies. It was the assertion that Rodgers lost us the title by not being defensive enough that rankled with me. The rest of it was fine but seriously, he can't be blamed for us not winning the league.

Not in isolation he cant,I agree,but we still conceded 50 goals and were close to blowing a couple of healthy leads,especially at Norwich where he brought Agger on to see out the win. At Palace he blinked and all our chickens came home to roost at once.

A DM at the start of last season or in January and we would have won the league comfortably but being incapable of shutting out teams when under pressure and over doing the possession stuff at the back made us fall short.
