So just out of interest, how much do you think he's worth if he were on sale? 50M pounds? More?

Last season he didn't even make the Brazil national squad.

He has had an outstanding season so far, but fortunately has some way to go in terms of doing it over a period of time, before we start reaching "frightening2 figures.

We have him at just the right time.

Agreed. It's no criticism of Coutinho to say that there must be a dozen players around Europe more exposed to Madrid/Barca carpetbagging than him.

He didnt make the squad because 'big phil' went with the old guard and his faves. Quite a few informed commentators and some ex brazilian world cup stars were surprised at his omission and not for the reasons you hint at..

Yes, it was a fantastic decision to omit him, and a true reflection of his ability. Same goes for Lucas Moura. Fred, on the other hand, is worth £4 trillion.

Fred, Paulinho and that little midget Bernard. How did that one work out for ya, Scolari?

If they had any nous they'd play Neymar up front with Coutinho behind him. Oscar and Lucas Moura either side of Coutinho and give the captains armband to Neymar instead of this fraud above.

There's an article on Coutinho by Paul Joyce in The Express today which drops in that Joorabchian has recently become his agent.

Not seen it verified anywhere else.

That isn't going to change my mind about the threat of us losing him!

Barca will already be tapping him up.

Aye it's straight up bad news, if true, purely for the inevitable bullshit that lizard always creates.

We need to get Insua back and installed where Phil can see him at all times.
