Depending on who you listen to, it's either 25m or 30m. We definitely made a bid for him but it's been rejected. I'd be buzzing if we pulled that off, even if he is over-priced. We're still talking to them, so maybe something may still happen.

Seeing as they're all over twitter, and we've not had any facts that we can stand talking about since Crouchamania stopped running wild, why not add a few of them in here. Andy Carroll does not ask you to repeat yourself, or say "pardon?" He cups his hand to his ear until he hears want he needs to hear.

He is the greatest forward in world football at what he does. There is not another forward in the world who does what he does. This kid is the greatest. Add the little magician Luis Suarez and they are a dream team. I'll argue till I'm dead that the two of them are better than anything else in world football. Andy Carroll is the greatest in the world. FACT.

"He said 'go on son, you're in a better position than me, see if you can give us the lead Steven'" "He puts him through and says "go on son, get your first of the season, rifle it in" and he does" "He's saying 'Come on keeper, lets see which way you're going, because whichever way it is, I'm putting it the other way' and he does" Did this occur when Andy was actually playing football? He gave details instructions to players who he gave the football too. It's his most annoying trait

On the rare occasions I get to Anfield these days I am almost always in the Upper Centenary. I come along Utting Avenue and turn left off Anfield Road, and come back the same way, so I never get much of a look at the rest of the ground - occaionally I'll go into town or for a drink behind the kop so I might see that end of the ground. When I was up the other week I was in the Main Stand for Arsenal. I was surpised to see the amount of space there is on Anfield Road where houses used to be and to see that the road immediately behing the main stand car park is derelict. The reason the club decided about 8-9 years ago that it needed a new ground was that it was impractic…

Any noises about Anfields future? When NESV took over the Red Sox the briefly toyed with replacing Fenway but decided to refurbish. I know they've talked about both options re Anfield back in the early days but haven't heard much since. They chose refurbishment partly for cost but also because Fenway is such a unique place and very dear to the good people of Boston. Here in North America stadium projects usually involve public financing either part or in some foolish cases (blackmailing owners who threaten to move the team) in full. How does it work in the UK? Would FSG have to foot the whole bill, where in Liverpool would be the best location? I have a mat…

Were Twats really aint we? I mean come on I am generalising us all in 1 bracket here but were are twats. We say we all stand for 1 thing, TLW, but do we know what that is. I mean yeah, we can read it and take in what Shanks built and instowed into our club, but to we really understand what it is. We publicly put our club through that court case. We publicly outed Rafa out of a job. And now we are publicly wanting Roy out! I mean come on Twats. ( Fans in general, Our whole fan base is not just this forum (MF). Who are we? Where is our integrity? Have we completley lost touch with who we are? How fickle are we? You know we all want number 19 but we wan…

Thinking of doing either 30 years of the UEFA Cup/Europa League. Pick a team from the finalists from 1985-2015. Can only pick one player from each squad (must have played in the final). Though you can pick multiple players from the same team if they appeared in multiple finals Or ill pick 12 random teams/nations like others Anyone interested for a midweek start

I've already put this on the GF. It's going on here too. A shamelss plug for this years festival. I work for the Foundation so thought i'd use all avenues to publicise this years event. "Celebrating Diversity, Opposing Racism" The Anthony Walker Foundation is pleased to announce the acts performing at this years Anthony Walker Festival. The event, in partnership with Love Music Hate Racism, will be taking place at Liverpool University, Brownlow Hill on Saturday 9th July. The Anthony walker Foundation was founded by Anthony's family after the brutal racist murder of the Huyton teenager in 2005. A whole day of events are planned including live mu…

Mrs O'T is sorted for her ticket, shouting "CAAAMORRNYEWWIYONNS!" with her weird lot in the Anny Road. As it stands right now, I'm condemned to sitting in the Belmont with its cheap pints of Somersby and overwhelming stench of piss. Anyone help a brother out? Please?

Myself and sister have them but with commitments we just can't get to that many matches . Naturally we want them to go to non knobheads as we are the ones who will get banned. If any interest then please pm me. Ideally they would be for you ,not a mate of a mate who may sell them on to a mate Main stand row 12 in line with andlied road end edge of penalty spot

If he's popped his shoulder out and is gone for a while, then I'm very nervous of how that could affect us. He's become a key player at a very young age for us. I don't think Suarez offers what Coutino has. Whereas the two of them together with the pace and guile of Sturridge and Moses might, eventually, see us play well in the 2nd half of a game as well as the 1st half. I hope our little fella is ok.

I've a Malaysian friend over in the UK with his Mrs at the moment who's an absolutely massive Liverpool fan. He went to the stadium tour last week and said to me it would have been a dream to go the game. He said no more of it and so I know he wasn't dropping the hint but I also know that I'd love to make that dream come true for him. A big issue obviously is that I'm over here in Oz and so am limited in looking for tickets myself. As such I was wondering - and I know this is a big ask - if the kind and good people here at TLW would be able to help out? I need a couple of tickets if anyone has two spare? I'll get my brother to pick them up and pay you. As I said, he's…
