Barrera against Marquez, should have happened years ago, but if Barrera wins tonight, he is in my opinion getting close to becoming the best mexican boxer ever, topping even Chavez. Interesting to see if he can do it tonight.

I'm fucking sick of them. I hear them every day, and frankly, I think they are absolutely annoying. Great? Maybe. Annoying as fuck? Yes. I wouldn't be sad if I never heard them again.

The Terry Christian thread got me thinking about this. In my first year of uni I persuaded everyone to come and see Johnny Mnemonic and Mr Christian was loitering in the cinema lobby beforehand. The cast was promising enough: Keanu Reeves, Henry Rollins, Ice-T and Dolph Lundgren - how could it fail? It was based on a short story of the same name by 'Cyberpunk' author William Gibson and was total crap from start to finish. I wasn't allowed to choose which films we went to after that.

Captain Caveman's powers include super-strength, a variety of useful objects hidden inside his fur, and a club that allows him to fly and from which pops out different tools he uses to fight crime. His trademark is his battle cry of "Captain CAAAAAAAVEMAAAAAAAAANNNN!!!!" Captain Caveman's voice was provided by Mel Blanc. General Major Webelo Zapp Brannigan is a fictional character in the television series Futurama. He is also referred to (mainly by himself) as "The Zapper," "The Velour Fog," and "Big Z". Brannigan is a senior member of the military of the Democratic Order of Planets (D.O.O.P.) though his title varies; he has been referred to as a "25 star General…

One of the saddest stories I've read in a long, long time. Cruelly unjust doesn't even begin to describe it. Sally Clark, wrongly jailed for killing sons, is found dead By Sadie Gray The Independent, 17 March 2007 Sally Clark, who spent three years in jail after she was wrongly convicted of the murder of her two baby sons, has been found dead at her home. Mrs Clark was found guilty in 1999 but was cleared by the Court of Appeal in 2003 after new medical evidence emerged which had not been presented at her trial. In a statement announcing her death, Mrs Clark's family said: "The matter is in the hands of the coroner and it is too early to provide …

...who would it be? I'd bring Franlin Roosevelt back, let him see what's become of his beloved country and see how he reacts to the policies of certain George W Bush, we'd see probably the shortest televised election debate in memory, compare these to some Bushisms...

Went to see it last night after getting some free preview tickets. (never had these before, check out seefilmfirst) Starts off slowly, very funny in the middle bits then drags on possibly 10 minutes too long. Very funny in bits though, well worth a fiver in the cinema. It scores 7.5 on the Fink-o-meter which would have been higher had I not been so knackered when i was watching it. "Punch this sh|t!!"

Just watched it. Absolutely blown away by the film, the story and the man. Compelling documentary and so many influences now make sense. Jason Pearce, Tom Waits, Nirvana, Mercury Rev. Its like i've found the jigsaw piece.

Ive been using BT homehub with a D-link USB adapter since monday. Everything has been working fine with good connection speeds and reception. I left my PC on overnight to download some stuff but when i woke up the connection had 'frozen'. I rebooted several times, and now it will not connect at all. I can see the hub in my available connections, with a 70% reception. But the bugger will not connect. Any suggestions?
