Wonder if Aqualani goes back to Roma, we no longer owe them the money, and we get this guy and maybe some cash. I don't follow Italian football but maybe possible?

 

I don't follow Italian football either but surely they don't pay you to sell you their player?

I was just speculating. We still owe them 5 mill Euro from the Aqualiani deal and Juventus does not appear to want to pay for him and we do not appear to want him back so maybe send Aqualiani back to Roma and they send us this goalkeeper plus a few million.

 

5 mill Euro forgiven + goalkeeper + few million

Why are we even him for him if as someone said above he's 3rd choice for Roma. Are our back ups to Reina all that bad that we need a 3rd choice Roma keeper as our No2? I understood the Friedel link but this must really be a kick in the stones to our other keepers.

Yes it did. A few of us mentioned on the Connor Wickahm thread that we can't be arsed trawling through hundreds of pages of arguing and slagging off to find the handful of posts we want to read about one particular player. If there's a player definitely linked and it looks worthy of talking about, let's have a thread on it. That's my view.
