I read a snippet from Terry yesterday speaking about how Chelsea held a team meeting after being knocked out of the Champions League. He's right though. How else are you going to challenge for a ball bouncing that way if you're stretching? It doesn't excuse the tackle, and particularly the follow through, but he is right when he says that, physically, that's pretty much the norm if you're stretching to get a foot on a bouncing ball.
