It is going to be hard hard game i'm thinking it will be very close but we will edge out with a las min goal or something like that probably a bale red card. I hope babel plays upfront the whole match.

I'm just nervous as usual. Nowhere near the point I was last week though, that was ridiculous. I'm not liking the fact we have this team at home though. With Ramos, fine, he didn't get the team to work together, but with Harry, he seems to have done it, and that side playing well together are a fucking danger. Pav, Bent, Modric and Bentley upfront/midfield and working well together are going to fuck some teams up this season. Thing is though if he's doing a 4-5-1 with either Pav or Bent upfront at least we're spared one of them. (and you can almost bet that he'll bring some amazing qualities out of Dos Santos, and probably Campbell too if he likes them both.)

Our advantage is obviously with their defence.

That's what I thought, but after some lurking on their boards i'm not so sure... Below are some of the quotes of their forum

Some of their opinions on Keane and the match...

"If we keep our heads down and pass the ball round with confidence and no bad back passes, get more of a runner going specially to break the pool defence. Just remember they are going to hyped up because they beat Chelsea and our top of the table. We are hyped up we got a new manager, more game confidence and we are going to be climbing the table soon. So its kind of even to be honest apart from the league positions."

"To be honest i think Arsenal are a harder team to play against then liverpool are. A point out of this game would be nice... 3 would be amazing."

"To be honest I really don't think their defence is that amazing, but if Modric and Jenas play harder then we are bound to crack a few goals."

"I've got to say Liverpool have rode their luck somewhat this campaign and we could quite easily derail them. We'll need King playing."

"Last night's defense in the first half was incredible (with the obvious exception of the set piece goal that Hutton allowed). Our guys didn't even give them a chance to breathe with the ball, as soon as they received a pass we were on them. It was so outstanding to watch. If they can keep that kind of pressure on Liverpool, and force a mistake out of them, we could def get all 3 points. And maybe if Bentley fires another 39 yarder, that would probably be helpful."

"Agreed, if we can play well against Arsenal and also give away silly mistakes and still come away with a point, then Liverpool will be a shade easier!"

"I think Spurs have a good chance to take 3 points from Liverpool this weekend.

It's at the Lane, in Spurs favor.

Most importantly, Liverpool is banged up a little bit. I doubt Robbie Keane will be 100 percent, and he has been getting substituted at 60 minutes pretty regularly.

Skrtel is down and unavailable, and I doubt Rafa would risk further injury to Torres.

Portsmouth lost on a penalty on Wednesday to Liverpool, who did not look very convincing.

I think we may be playing Liverpool at the right time because of all of these factors and may end up pulling out the win.

As much as a I like Robbie Keane, I want him to leave White Hart Lane upset, since he was so thrilled to earlier on in the year. But I hope the crowd shows class and gives him a little respect. (save the jeers for Berbatov, please!)"

ON Keane

"He will get slaughtered!!!

Clap him after the game when we walk away with a 2-0 win."

These deluded little muppets seem to think that they played well against the Arse on Wednesday, the way I saw it was that they had 1 long range goal, 2 flukey goals and by all means they should have been dead and buried by the 75th minute... The Arse shat all over them() and it really wasn't even a contest. After hanging arround there for a while I have come to a conclusion: Everton fans aren't the only small club to suffer from delusions of grandeur and bouts of jealousy at their more succesful neighbours expense, all these crappy lil' clubs do it, the Shite are just better at it than most.

This pic pretty much sums them up

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't win to be honest. Not sure why, but i've lost a bit of confidence this week!

If I am honest I feel like that most games. I think it is a defence mechanism so if we lose it will not hurt so much.

I am just playing mind games with myself and we will snot them today. Their defence is shit and I just hope the clown between the posts is playing. Nothing better than a shite keeper, it does wonders for the confidence of those in front.

Come on redmen. Load of bollocks the kick off time, it is just so wrong on a Saturday.

I dont think we'll get the win - a score draw and we'll be on the back foot for most of the game. With the exception of the Chelsea game, our recent performances have not been inspiring. As long as we dont lose to a team propping up the league...

And where were you after the Chelsea game? Well?

Hamstrung - if only we were that lucky.

I haven't seen Gomes play since he moved to Spurs, but he was extremely highly rated before the switch and I seem to recall him playing well against us on at least one occassion.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he played a blinder today. We seem to have a knack of bringing out the best in opposition goalies.

I feel this is a game we really should win, but in the larger picture a draw wouldn't exactly be the end of the world.

But if we get the win we're in a fantastic position coming into a quite easy run of games.

Lots seem to be assuming that this will be an open match, but then I thought that the Portsmouth match would be pretty open as well seing as they're a decent team... Teams seem to be content to just sit back against us this year both home and away, besides Tottenham's midfield is lightweight and Redknapp will probably look to stifle us not go all swashbuckley on us as some others seem to think... I'll plump for another narrow win for us with Babel scoring the winner of the bench.

I said what I thought of the Chelsea performance after the game. It dosent change what I've just said. For the most part this season we've not played well but have managed to win. That cant last much longer. We need to start playing well and winning. I havent really seen any sign that we're starting to do that. I had hoped we'd convincingly beat portsmouth but again it was a narrow & somewhat lucky win. We are relying too heavily on single goal victories. A couple of two or three goal victories are needed now to really get us flying. I really hope we manage it today but think we'll have to settle for one point.

I would happily take a scruffy 1-0 win every game if it meant we would win the league, I'm going to neg you either way.

So would I take a one nil every game but obviously that is not going to happen. Therefore we need to start playing well asap. Its not rocket science.

I reckon that Gomes will have a great game today, it always happens against us. Dodgy 'keepers tend to raise their games against us by and large.

I'd like to see the following team:

------------Reina

Arbeloa--Carra--Agger--Aurelio

Kuyt--Alonso--Mascherano--Riera

---------Gerrard

----------Keane

I don't think Torres will be fit.
