  1. 1. What was your personal favourite today?

    • Cody Gakpo's first goal (from Robbo's great pass)
    • Darwin Nunez (close range header)
      0
    • Cody Gakpo's second goal (sublime, angled finish)
    • Mo Salah's first goal (in off the crossbar)
    • Darwin Nunez's second goal (towering header)
    • Mo Salah's second goal (shot from six yards, wild celebration, not VAR'd)
      0
    • Bobby Firmino (no look, of course)

What was your favourite goal today? Need to think a bit before my own choice. What a remarkable performance.

Gakpo’s second ,what a move and Mo putting one of the seven dwarfs on his arse before the layoff. Loved it

Gakpo's first for me perfect bend on it to hit the water bottle. A stonker of a goal.

Not just his finish, the ball from robbo and gakpo spotting where robbo is pointing and making the right run. For me that's a great example of the players all getting used to each other. Gakpo makes that run not only because he's showing willing, but because he knows robbo has it in his locker to make the pass. So when the ball comes into him, there's no suprise and he's already thinking about scoring. All while the game is level and we'd had our worst spell of the game.

In recent weeks, most notably the derby, Newcastle and yesterday, we're back to showing teams we can counter attack and punish you. It changes everything. That fucking shower yesterday thinking they're better than real Madrid because they've just knocked out Barca, thought all they needed to do was hang around a bit till we gifted them a goal, even at 3-0. The gifts are getting fewer, but just as importantly it's taking the pressure off the lads up the pitch, because we're not chasing the game constantly by being 2 goals down in 15 mins. And at last we're starting to see the benefit of our new players. And Diaz is to come back.

And that goal for me was all that. Easily the goal of the day. I can't understand the debate.

Gakpo's second was the best goal, and I've voted that as my favourite, as it was pure class from start to finish. Loved Bobby's as well (of course), the way he managed to drag the ball with him after initially controlling it a bit short is one of the many reasons I'll miss him when he's gone. Such a sublime footballer.

Technically, it's between the two Gakpos. For giving me a twitch in the kecks it's the one that Mo twatted.  In the end I voted with my heart - Bobby, all the way.

Not sure if we've scored such an emphatic goal against them since N'gog!

Love the narrative behind Bobby's goal and delighted for him, but I'm a sucker for a goal that goes in off the crossbar. They just look fucking ace.

I agree.

I also think De Gea was at fault for a lot of the other goals, but not even Alisson would have saved that volley.
