I love it when new generation mancs casually trash the 5 titles busby and his players, including some who died in the Munich air crash, won for them not to mention the 2 before him. In an instant such luminaries as Best and Law didnt win the English championship if their reasoning holds because it wasnt called the Permier League. Why do they sing "20 times man united" again?

But if it comforts them in their 8 year long and growing titleless streak, let them suck on ma's tit.

As for being a founder member of the PL, fuck me, Oldham, QPR, Sheff Wednesday and even the old Wimbledon can lay claim to that.

I am in a WhatsApp banter with admittedly a 15 year old manc fan eventually had to convey what you have put in your first paragraph haven’t heard from him since. Anyway took a dig at older fan at work head down and muttered “Jesse Lingard still at our club ffs” was about to rhyme off de gea , back four , some nonentity midfielders but threw out an olive branch and said that Greenwood a talent . I can be magnanimous when winning.

think that is just confidence and trying to fit in

I’ve seen nothing from him that suggests that he will make it with us. He doesn’t seem suited to the physicality of the league, more a La Liga type of player IMO.

I think Minamino needs a run of games with Mané and Salah. He's got the energy to press like Firmino, and takes up decent positions, but when everyone else is tiring it can isolate him and make him look a bit of a headless chicken.

Being thrown on at the end of games with Origi is a bit pointless, as that's usually the signal for our runners to sit back a bit.

Give time to the lad, he ended up here at a very difficult time, surrounded by very good players, into a team which have beeb performing  very well as a unit for some time.

He’ll be working hard and well during the preseason!

Salah always had pace at least, Taki isn’t at all quick.

There is plenty of pace in the team - Trent, Robbo, Salah, Mané, Milner, Gini, Virg, Gomez to name but a few. Some of my personal favourite players in history didn't have pace. Molby, Sheringham, Alonso. And although Bobby is fast, he doesn't always sprint. His skills are more jaw-dropping when he isn't sprinting.

He needs time to adapt to the country, the League and the team. It's strange that Liverpool signed him after playing against him and a few of the senior players recommended that Klopp signed him. Are they all wrong?

I think with Taki they are. I genuinely can’t see it. I don’t know what he’s good at, as he’s shown very little for us. Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliot have shown more.

I don’t think he will make it here unfortunately. Too small, too weak and doesn’t seem to have the attitude required.

He looked completely embarrassed to be on the podium on Wednesday night.

Joyce saying the Lovren fee is agreed.

Not getting the aggression towards him but I guess that's twitter. Has real flaws, but genuinely cares about the club (if anything he usually got caught out trying too hard) and was part of the champion squad. Plus, Dortmund...

Why mock the guy on his way out?

That German bloke who manages us and knows nothing seemed to be exactly the same with Lovren the other night as he was previously with Mignolet, and is with Lallana. Real feeling, gratitude and respect towards them. Klopp just lacks the insight of football Twitter, I guess.

You’re a form of entertainment I suppose, but apparently not everyone’s cup of tea. But you can’t please everyone.

Good, so please try and focus on the topic in hand next time.. it’s far more interesting for you, for me.. and for everyone else.
