I saw an episode with him on a couple of months ago and was surprised at his effusive praise of Liverpool, it certainly raised my eyebrow.

He talked a load of bollocks didnt he? He keeps banging this drum that FFP is solely to keep old money as he calls it, and the 'elite' clubs winning things while keeping the new money out. He doesnt see that the 'elite' clubs are that because they have a history of winning national leagues and European trophies.

 

Im not sure how he squares the circle of Real Madrid always being the recipient of 'gifted' money as he was want to call it yet being part of his 'elite.' He seems to think there's a bucketful of mega rich owners and or nations, being stopped from pouring their bottomless pit of money into non 'elite' clubs and turn them into 'elite' ones.

 

Where's his evidence for this? city and PSG are clearly the exception. How has PSG worked out in the french league, have they made their league more competitive and raised the standard of other clubs in France? Or have they turned Ligue Un into a procession for 8 of the last 9 years?

 

And then the fat cunt chucks his bomb in at the end of his diatribe, 75% of the CL money the 4 PL participant get should be distributed to the rest of the PL! Why stop there, Martin, why not give the 75% to League One and Two clubs?

On a separate note, I dont normally watch SS much these days so didnt notice the opening credits. But, can anyone tell me why solskjaer's ugly mush is the one displayed immediately after Guardiola's and before Klopp? Anyone would think it was to give a better impression of solskjaer's standing or that he finished second behind Pep last season. Will they display Carlo's face immediately after Jurgen's next season? And why have they stopped showing those aerial pictures of the current champion's ground on the walls of the set?
