Liverpool have made Sevilla's Clement #Lenglet their top defensive target for this summer. Reds manager Jurgen #Klopp views the Frenchman as the ideal long-term partner for fellow centre-back Virgil van #Dijk. (Diario AS) https://t.co/1Dz43KaZ4c

Apparently he has a release clause of 28m, not sure where r the Mirror got their figure from. Only 22 years old.

Apparently back in for Zielinski. Napoli are the new Southampton

I have a strange theory, based on absolutely nothing other than a gut instinct of some sort, that if we are really after Zielinski it is not to play in midfield, but rather to be Firmino's backup.

Just watch him play, there's something of Bobby there. Really intelligent, good instincts in a crowd of players, and he's constantly running. Not sure he scores enough goals, which to be fair is a pretty big problem with my theory.

Didn't think he was getting into the team

Talking Celtic, whats up with Dembele this year. Goal scorings fallen off a cliff

Been injured a bit. Griffiths was on fire earlier in the season too and we normally only go with 1 striker. See Dembeles oen on sunday though???

Napoli midfielder Jorginho has given a pretty big indication he’s keen on a summer transfer to Liverpool amid links with the Reds and two of their main Premier League rivals.

Earlier this season, the Daily Mirror claimed Liverpool looked the favourites ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal to sign the £50million-rated midfielder, and this cheeky hint from the player on social media appears to confirm there’s some truth in that.

The 26-year-old has hinted he’d welcome a move to the Merseyside giants after ‘liking’ a social media post linking him with the club, which in modern football is a pretty good indication of a player’s plans.

Many recent transfer sagas have been dominated by clues from players over their futures, including Paul Pogba’s hints on Instagram before he ended up at Manchester United and some Twitter activity from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before he joined Arsenal in January.

There was someone else saying that all his comments about how he was interested in the Premier League but only to play with a team that played "quick, aggressive football" or something like that to "suit my style of play" was really just because he already has a pre-agreement with Liverpool. If I recall he went out of his way to hint that United didn't interest him because of their style of play.

It's reading the tea leaves a bit but I have to admit I wouldn't be surprised if it's basically agreed. You know Klopp probably has us running like a Bundesliga club and they always have all their main transfer stuff wrapped up by the end of April. And though I obviously wanted Rabiot, Jorginho is a great player and will be sensational for us behind Keita.

@DominicGallagher

@LFC

Summer transfer window 2018:

Gk- backup to karius (???)

Cb- Stefan de vrij (free)

Cb- Gimenez (40m)

Cm- Naby Keita (already got)

Cm- Max Meyer (free)

Cm- Jorginho (40m)

Cm- Lemar (50m)

Lw- Leon Bailey (35m)

Rw- Christian Pulisic (35m)

200m ? , That's our team sorted @LFC

Dominic Gallagher is on crack. Bet he goes to Asda and thinks his monthly shop will be a tenner.

I think De Vrij was supposed to be close to a move to Napoli or Juve, can't remember which.

Can't see Gimenez happening, would be a massive price and he's not exactly played a lot of football to earn that. Don't get the South American vibe from Klopp either.

Meyer looks a distinct possibility, progressive type with a lot of running in him and the type of player Klopp likes to work with.

Jorginho is classy, would be surprised to see him come in if Can stays though.

Lemar situ looks dead to me. Don't think Monaco would halve their asking price in a single season.

Leon Bailey will likely end up as a 'star signing' for someone like United, or Chelsea. They'll offer big money and guaranteed starts.

Pulisic is all ours. Klopp and the committee seemingly have a perverse desire for the lad.

Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos is set to sign for Liverpool this summer, according to huge reports from Spain.

Real Madrid star Ceballos was linked with Liverpool during the January transfer window.

However, the Spaniard ultimately stayed at the Bernabeu, where he has struggled for game time so far.

Ceballos joined Real Madrid from Real Betis in the summer but Spanish outlet Don Balon claim a move to Liverpool is now in the offing.

The Reds are expected to spend shrewdly this summer despite currently soaring under Jurgen Klopp.

And Liverpool are also likely to spend big with the Merseyside giants yet to replace Philippe Coutinho, who left for Barcelona in January.

Don Balon go into detail on Liverpool’s interest in the player.

It is said Klopp will ‘spare no expense’ as he aims to bring the player to the club.

Real president Florentino Perez will supposedly rubber-stamp a transfer at the end of the season.

But, in order to make sure he does not miss out on the player’s potential, he will include a buy-back clause.

Ceballos is now expected to be Liverpool’s first signing of the summer.

Yet Klopp is unlikely to stop there.

A goalkeeper is also on their radar with Roma shotstopper Alisson Becker their No 1 target.

And Liverpool have also been linked with the likes of Thomas Lemar and Paulo Dybala.
