Pretty rare that all three of those would have bad games, really bad luck for us that it would happen against Spurs.  We should really be 2 or 3 up; Tottenham have given the ball away so many times in the midfield it's like they're trying to commit suicide.  All we need is for Sturridge to put one of those away and we would be flying.

 

As for the good, Ibe is brilliant and Markovic looks really good as well in this position.

Ibe, Can and Skrtel the only players to emerge with any credit from that half, and the latter two it only really because they were mistake free. 

 

Unlike some, I wouldn't take Coutinho off, because as shit as he's been, he's one of the few who can actually make something happen. 

 

I'd get Allen on for Gerrard, maybe Lallana for Coutinho as well if he doesn't snap out of it in 10 or 15 minutes.  Don't love Allen but we have to do something in midfield.  Dembele is absolutely running the midfield, and it's only because Bentaleb is a giant lump of clay that we're still 50-50 in terms of dominating the game.

I thought it would be much tighter than this but pretty good stuff to watch - the half flew by. Can't believe I'm saying this but would get Balotelli out there with Sturridge at some point, doubt they could handle both of them.
