They're a good team, let's be honest. They've got a bit of everything and will probably run us very close for a top 4 place. I don't see them falling away unless they get an injury to Lukaku or one of the centre halves. They're lucky that they haven't had too many injuries so far because they don't have much depth in their squad. The first 11 is very good though.

Maybe could do with reinforcements at the back and sub keeper but their squad is not too bad in fairness. A couple of these are injured but without their 1st 11 at the Emirates they would be able to field something like this:

hibbert heitinga alcaraz baines
gibson osman
deulofeu
kone jelavic naismith

They'll struggle to get the same quality of loan player next season though. Top 4 is vital for them to be replaced

don't agree mate, they now have Martinez as manager, not some yard dog in charge. If they treat Deulfeo and Lukaku well, then word will get around that it is a good place to send players as they get game time, playing football the right way. Unlike sadly us, we have Moses and that guy from Valencia, who sit on the bench.

Right now, we should be looking at good players who aint getting game time - who want to go to the world cup, get them on loan. Lazy thinking but ask Chelsea for Torres on loan, sure it wont happen but thats the way we should be thinking. We have Enrique, Gerrard, Henderson and Sturridge out for Dec/Jan. we must act quickly.

That is very true, we have loaned pisspoor.

We should be looking at teams like Real Madrid & PSG. These teams have large squads, can we loan a player or 3?

We have Suarez

The top teams want Suarez.

It would be in their benefit to get on side with LFC.

Then we tell them to fuck off when they ask about Luis in the summer.

I dont know what players are sitting on benches of other leagues, just using players in the PL as examples.

but yeah, you are probably right, close the door on a discussion just because you dont agree?

Everton have loaned 3 players that have improved them, media are talking about top4.

Why the hell can't we.

Why would Chelsea and Tottenham loan us players that are extremely likely to really improve us?

Chelsea are known for their "weird" decision making so it can't really hurt, if it pisses them off a bit as well.. Interesting players from other top clubs and are not getting a look are Song, Shaquiri, Morata, Jese, Montoya, etc.

PS What do you guys think of Micah Richards? Besides the fatc that he's made of glass..

Was Cole or Cantona joining united unrealistic? Very much so.

Torres joining Chelsea was a bit of a bitch slap but then the Sturridge signing eases that.

Players move around, if Defoe has any ambition of going to Brazil he will leave in Janaury and to a PL side. Would Tottenham deal with us, do they see us as a threat or Defoe doing well for us vs their rivals. Mata and Torres the same. Dzeko at City. There are players out there that we can loan and improve us overnight. Barry has been great at Everton, Lukaku scare all defenders and Martinez has been smart in his use of the barca lad.

Why are you so against the idea of loaning players in January?

If there was a remote possibility we could loan Mata or Dzeko then every single Liverpool fan would be all for it. (Apart from the obvious few that moan about EVERYTHING)

The problem is, there isn't a remote possibility.
