Go with uneven teams in the regular league, it'll free up players. We should be downsizing that one anyway.

Yeah, it looks like you can only delete or add 2 teams at a time. It doesn't seem to allow odd numbers in it.

I have set a provisional draft date for the dynasty draft for Sunday 2nd september at 19.30 in the UK.

Yep I can be there for a few hours at that time,hopefully the site has autodraft for the teams that aren,t there and it will pick straight away without the 90 second wait for a pick.

If you are not there there is a autograft system.

If you don't put players into a draft order it will do it for you based on the 2012 projections

Yes it's set for Saturdsay 1st of September at 5pm, but if people need to move it an hour or two later, or whatever, then that's fine...

Just a reminder to new owners, and in fact all owners. It’s important that you keep playing once you’re in. Negligent owners who stop managing their team will compromise the integrity of the league. So even if you're stinking up the joint the obligation is their to put out your best team every week. Otherwise the sanctions from the Commissioner's office will be swift and severe.

 

Last year was impeccable in this regard if I remember rightly.

When is the draft order sorted? Do we find that out prior to the draft or just on the day?

I am probably going to have to pre-rank due to it being 2am here at draft time, which is no problem. Just might be a bit easier if I knew where I was drafting.

We didn't find out last year till just before the draft.

 

We are down to 6 for the dynasty league.

If anyone wants in they will need to contact me on here as it has to be even numbers and I'll open some new slots.

That's a pretty big time-zone difference. What's the latest you'd be up on a Saturday night just out of interest? The reason for the evening start is just what we've done in previous years, as I personally could do it earlier. Some people work during the day on Saturdays though.

 

Yeah the draft order is random - we only find out 30 minutes beforehand. I think your pre-draft rankings has an option for 'preferred positions', so you can try and draft in some sort of order, like RB, QB, WR, RB etc.

Traveling round California next month but miss all the NFL games. Just looked at the schedule and might be able to catch the San Diego Aztecs at the Qualcomm, which pretty nifty!

Well trading is the best part anyway! My teams always look nothing like the ones I draft by halfway through a season. I think I only had 2 players I drafted in my squad by the end last year.

 

We've probably got one or two in the US too which is of course the other direction time-wise. Not to mention some who probably work during the day on a Saturday. So it's a bit of a tough one either way.

 

So we'll play it by ear for the moment. Interest in the thread from everyone else will probably pick up next week.
