Yea it was quite poor. A sweeping generalisation. Of course they're not all as described. I was just basing it upon my own experience with them that has not been good. Not good at all.

Yeah had that experience with roma when I worked at carphone warehouse. They'd come in with fake passports trying get expensive phones. I knew they were fake as they would come back later the same day with a hat on and a new passport. You defo wouldn't need Colombo solve that.

To be fair they weren't violent. But for everyone I met who wasn't dodgy 20 were.

Trump won the presidency with the same rhetoric:

"Mexicans are rapists and drug dealers."

"Moslems are terrorists."

Yours are a tad subtler, but the message is the same.

They could just keep running this picture; they'd have to change the caption a bit.

Report into how the asylum processing system is shit, because it's underfunded, staff are untrained and underpaid, so people don't stay long enough to get experience. Instead of investing in sorting those problems out, the Tories are wasting money on detention centres and hotels, which allows racist cunts to spin their lies and gain support.

The chap who threw a petrol bomb at the migrant centre and then ‘killed himself’ at a petrol station actually got out if his car, tied a rope to a concrete post, looped the other end around his neck, got back into his car, started the engine and accelerated forward. Not widely reported in the Uk media. He was clearly a racist nutter but that’s going to smart.

It was largely reported he was at the end of his rope.

I find the people mostly outraged by immigration live in areas hardly touched by it. Most don't even notice unless it's a person with darker skin. Around most of the country my liverpool accent makes me feel like an immigrant, I've certainly heard and read the disdain. Largely I've more respect for people making an effort to improve their lot in life than those who sit round and judge based upon nothing but their own prejudice. It doesn't mean to say people haven't the right to be concerned if poorly thought out and planned immigration impacts their community negatively because there will be those whose concerns are valid. Mostly though it's just people being mean spirited and ignorant.

It's a good point that. The most openly racist people I ever met were in Widnes even though there was only one black guy in the whole town, who sold reconditioned fridges on the market.

The daily Mail comments section was filled with “rip” “people are at the end of their tether” etc not “what an evil Cunt”

The rhetoric from the government is terrifying. Braverman is truly evil. Far worse that Priti Patel.
