My Mrs is a vegan so I don't eat anywhere near as much meat as I used too. Bacon is the main reason I could never be vegan. We babysat her niece and nephew on Friday, her nephew loves bacon so she got some in.

Are you a frier of griller?

Prefer grilled because they crisp up better, especially if you put the rashers on one tray and place another right on top. That said, deep-fried bacon is very good too.

Mmm bacon.

Deep fried bacon???? if I'm ever on death row I'll ask for that as my final meal so I can beat the bastards too it.

You got any good recipes for the Foodi? Wings are sensational and I did a lamb biryani that was immense as well. A few others have been a bit hit and miss.

I’m learning so I’m in a similar boat. Did a pork crackling joint yesterday which turned out perfect. Steaks have been fantastic but I can’t seem to get homemade chips right.

I also baked a loaf of bread which was nice and slow cooked a chilli but that’s hard to get wrong.

At some point I’m going to make a Scottish dish called Stovies in it. My mum was born on a Scottish Island and used to make it when we were kids. Delicious if done right and served with white bread and butter. It can be done with other meats but sausages are best.
