Might be being a tad picky but most of Paul Simons greatest songs actually had Art Garfunkel singing lead vocals.

His solo albums ( Graceland excepted ) were not as good as S&G imo.

Cant agree with that mate. Thought his solo stuff pre Graceland was excellent.

Did he make the top 64? He shouldn't have if he did.

Even Stig didn't vote for him. Or Liam.

Elton John

Frank Sinatra

2Pac

John Lennon

Michal Jackson

Marvin Gaye

Phil Collins

Buddy Holly

Bob Dylan

Sting (Fuck off, I like the Field of Gold album)

Ill give you Ryhmin' Simon but not sure on the others. Anyway I voted for PS , Stevie Wonder never did it for me and find his voice annoying. Hope he doesn't read this post !

You have to disregard S&G who I love but Stevie is so, so good.

Took my Dad to see him play Songs In The Key of Life, just pure joy throughout. I can still remember Knocks Me Off My Feet to this day, incredible. Every single person in the crowd singing at the top of their lungs, will never forget that.

Stevie run of albums from the 70s to mid 80s is arguably as good if not better than any artist in history. Also like Prince a master musician on most instruments.

I don't even see this as close, especially ignoring Paul's work with Art

Nah man - every single thing he has done has had at least a couple top tunes on it.

Me and Julio

Mother and Child Reunion

Kodachrome

Slip Slidin Away

50 ways

One Trick Pony

Johnny Ace

Top songwriting.

But he's not Stevie Wonder.

Great songs but the topic is solo artists .  Art Garfunkel was a better singer that PS but as a duo they were ahead of everyone.  Anyway I would take either one or the pair together with sore throats ahead of SW

American tune was solo as well although the best version is from the concert in Central Park.
