we’re gonna absolutely annihilate them, they’ve got a few injuries and they’re shite, They feed off the natives at Woodison, that’s why it’s such a hard place to go. Not this team, they are a bunch of spineless shithouses, even their fans say that about them. The pressure would be too much for them.

 

We've been too kind to them the last 2 seasons but probably because we had played a lot of games and were going for the Champions League with a thin squad. Now we are out of it and had a 3 month break only rustiness can be used as an excuse. 

 

But as you say, Arsenal have absolutely no chance of beating Man City so whatever they would do in that situation is irrelevant.

Obviously hope you are right , but I think there will be a weird period during the first couple of weeks with strange games and results. We only had three weeks off before the Spurs CL final and looked really rusty never mind 3 months.

The problem lies in the fact that from their perspective, you never get rusty when your gameplan is to be yard dogs just kicking everything in sight, which only occasionally may be the ball.

Playing with an empty stadium instead of 39.000 rabid bitters takes away about 60% of Everton's chances. A referee and officials not feeling intimidated by said rabid fans, probably another 25%. The fact we have a far superior squad should see us comfortably win this game, although the bitters will chalk it down to being unfair and not counting in the big scheme of things. Reckon we'll beat them 4-1.
