You might be a huge footy fan who hasn’t missed any of your country’s national team games home or away for years.

There are millions of footy fans who can't travel to a winter world cup, and a considerable number may also not have missed their country's games.

Tough fucking titties.

I don’t give a fuck. I was just putting forward a possible explanation with regards to your question.

My neither.

I was just putting forward another possible group of equally appalled individuals with regards to your answer.

There'll be LGBT+ people involved with most of the clubs, most federations, even some players.

Imagine dedicating yourself to a sport/profession/organization and then being told that you are second-class citizens and that you must hide who you are.

A burka, of sorts, with less cloth.

Just like being an LFC fan and Scouser.

I have no interest at all in this shitshow.

I won't watch any of it....but i do a have an interest in Ingerlund failing....a real interest.

I want all those twats who rock up at Anfield in the away end week in week out and sing 'always the victims' 'sign on' and all the rest of the shite they sing at us to be miserable.

I want all the flag shaggers, the tories, the xenophobes and the racist little ingerlund

beauts to suffer....I want to see the footage of packed bars on the news with hordes of Ingerlund fans with their heads in their hands.

I want all the rats on social media who give us dogs abuse from their basements to suffer. I want all those knobheads who sing God Save The Queen at Anfield to suffer.

I want all the dickheads with their 'on tour' flags and shitty little town name on george cross with 3 lions, and a poppy or no surrender etc banners to suffer.

I want the s*n newspaper to only have failure to report to it's vermin readership.

Fuck them all.

This should be the lot, and only Alisson, Nunez and Van Dijk are certainties to play most of their games, I reckon.

Alisson – Brazil
Fabinho – Brazil
Ibrahima Konate – France
Trent Alexander-Arnold – England
Jordan Henderson – England
Darwin Nunez – Uruguay
Virgil van Dijk – Netherlands

Because, ya know, we might want to watch a game of football and shouldn’t be treated any differently from any other human?

Yes. And Qatar doesn't offer that.

So why would you want to step foot in that country?

I don't, but I might want to watch the football like anyone else. The clear issue is that we can't do it safely, not whether we do or don't want to go there. Obviously we don't want to go there because of the issues with LGBTQ rights. The point of discussion should surely be whether or not a global events that pretends to be inclusive should be held in a country like this not whether or not we want to go to that country. We want to watch the football. Then not offering that is the issue.

Because you shouldn’t be prevented from travelling and watching your national team in a World Cup finals.

Why should, for example a Welsh gay bloke who has followed his country home and abroad for decades not get to see them play live at a World Cup finals?

After having to face discrimination, negative bias and open homophobia for decades why should he now stop fighting for his rights and stay at home and miss out on quite possibly a once in a life time opportunity?

It’s a fucking stupid question and deliberately provocative.

Negged.

It’s not inconceivable that somebody might not feel safe travelling there, given the absence of LGBT rights.
