Had a look on the Oatcake forums. Allen appears to be polarising Stoke support into two groups:

1. One of only a few players putting any effort in;

2. No discipline in midfield leading to gaps and making the other mids' lives harder.

You pays your money and you takes your choice, I suppose.

We havent any defensive midfielders whilst spurs have about 12

Manager-wise, you get what pay for. Klopp builds that very basic trait into very good players, whereas Pochettino needs to buy specialists.

Fair?

It's very hard to make a case for Wanyama or Dier as starters in our midfield, just the one string to their bow. All they have to do is run after people, keep an eye on spaces, and play it simple.

Would be glad to see Stoke go down. Horrible supporters and an arrogant arsehole of a manager. And I'm still bitter about losing 6-1 to that miserable bunch so seeing them go down would go some way to soften that memory.

Had a look at the Redcafe forum and they are ripping into Rooney. Won't be long before they're calling him a scouse wanker and telling him to fuck off back to Liverpool I reckon.

I'd have Wanyama or Dier over Wijnaldum

Rooney is like one of those kids that can't sing but who has pushy parents. They shove him on stage at a Haven holiday camp or whatever the fuck and he proceeds to sound like a U-Boat that's gone too deep, but you look at them in the front row beaming with smiles from ear to ear like a pair of San Francisco hippie lovers watching Hendrix for the first time, and you ask yourself 'is the rest of the world mentally ill, or am I?'

Would i fuck

Wanyama make Momo look like Xabi Alonso in his passing range.

Wijaldum does nothing flash but he gets around the ball a moves it on quickly and accurately to the men in front. His off the ball work is good. Snd with Klopp not wanting to play tbe traditional DM type he is perfect in the midfield

And for once i agree with 3Stacks Dembele is the Spurs midfield. The whole game runs through him. Without him they look clueless
