Loved the early Eagles stuff.

 

At a party before Christmas all sitting about pissed at the end arguing about what music we wanted and the compromise was the Eagles greatest hits .  Amazing how many people knew all the lyrics and were singing along. Not just old farts like me.

 

They might not have done any groundbreaking stuff but they wrote some great songs that endure

 

Glad I saw them that one time down in London . Sad loss.

It's a bit of a shite year for pop death so far.  I only hope when they bring the coffin back home so he can lie in state that the heat isn't on.  Had a bit of a sing song in the pub last night, which included a few of the Eagles songs, to then get home and find he's popped his clogs.
