Klopp Kopped.

Made up with this, the whole club needed a massive shot in the arm after the general apathy of Brendan's last two seasons. A lot of us have been wondering what direction the club has been heading in and whether the owners are serious about competing, I think that this answers it.

On the pitch I doubt he will stand for cowardly performances like we witnessed since the Man Utd game and I think he will take the Europa league seriously, which is a good chance of us winning a trophy and getting back in the CL.

Klopp is one of the reasons I am a big fan of German football. He shook the game up at the top with his team's all action style and non stop quest for goals. The point that most people are forgetting is this man is a Winner,we will win things,if not sacked too soon and we will be feared once more and be less of a laughing stock, not fully into we get rid of Ian Ayre but we cant have everything!

I am delighted and buzzing today. Just cannot believe it.

Just saw his first LFC interview. I'm impressed!

His one message to LFC fans were: stop doubting - start believing!

He struck me as: energetic, positive, thorough, hard-working, inclusive, crazy - and he loves football. He wants to "make the fans' lives better" by playing good, fast-action football.

When asked about the current squad, he said the had studied it, and thought that it was good - no real problems. That we had everything needed to play good football: pace, technical ability, etc. He had also watched LFC games and thought some was good - some was not so good - but believe that the team is good.

When asked about the transfer committee, he said it wasnt a problem at all - as long as he has the first and last word. He doesnt want to spend lots of cash on that and that player: he's happy with what he has - will work with what he has. A committee/some people to talk to regarding transfers is a good thing he said (he's also used to it from before in Germany).

Asked about goals, titles etc, he stresses that we must forget about this for now - we must rather focus on what we need to day for day: to work hard, focus on our football, and take it from there. He said his aim is to be successful - but he did not promise anything else. He needs time to implement his vision on the team.

He will now start working with the team, the players, talk to them, share how he wants to work and play, and hope that the players will join him in this. For those that will he said he was loyal. He wants to play "wild football".

Exciting!
