I can't believe that anyone would be surprised that the Islamists eroding Turkey's secular republic and denying the Kurdish people's right to self-determination have allied themselves to the Islamists doing just that in Syria and Iraq.

With the help of Zionists, Neocons, Christian fundies, greedy corporate bosses, western mainstream media, western agencies, western diplomats, western leaders, western think tanks, and so on. I think it is surprising actually, because it's so fucking stupid.

So no it's not all the fault of the "Islamists", no matter how hard you and others try to make out like it is. And if you're going to respond with something like "I wasn't saying it's all their fault", then maybe you could try adding some of the other culprits into your accusations at the same time as you're mentioning Islamists.

I'd rather not buy into your deranged conspiracy bullshit, thanks.

Correct, obviously. You would have to have the most ridiculously naive and simplistic view of the world, or be expressing a disingenuous one, to believe it's all about Islam.

Aww, scared of the truth? Or does it shit on your anti-Islam agenda? (I thought you'd bring in conspiracy stuff before you replied. So predictable.)

You mean like the conspiracy bullshit where Erdogan's authorities conspire to carry out a false flag attack and blame it on Syria? Or the Iran Contra conspiracy? Or the conspiracy where the US supplied chemical weapons to Iraq to use in the Iran-Iraq war, and then later suppressed info that they'd been found by US troops (who suffered several casualties) when the US invaded Iraq? Or the conspiracy to attack Iraq for oil? Or the conspiracy to overthrow a democratically elected government in Iran in 1953?

Your deranged "conspiracy" bullshit label (which is getting more like being called an "anti-semite" for supporting Palestinians nowadays, meaning basically worthless and slightly amusing at times.) doesn't work very well here, sorry. More like conspiracy fact quite often when it comes to the Middle-East, and the many actual, real, and fucking proven, conspiracies that are carried out over there.

Jews deny self-determination to the Kurds?

About as accurate as your usual anti-semitic nonsense anyway.

You know what I was getting at, you crooked little fuck.  And a typical Israeli apologist - any criticism of Israel is antisemitic.  Well it is not, and I am not.  You are a disgrace.

Says he's not an anti-semite after using the classic anti-semitic term "crooked" at me. Brilliant, you couldn't make it up.

Maybe stop trying to shoehorn the Middle East's only democracy into the discussion when they've got nothing to do with the topic and you won't get accused of having an agenda.

Meanwhile, I am happy to support the self-determination of Kurds and Jews. Both of these persecuted groups should have their own democratic homelands, free from Islamic fascists who want to murder them.

The Mirror seem to think No1 female terror suspect 'The White Widow' has been shot while fighting for the Ukranians.

Hang on - a western terror suspect fighting for western allies....?

Thought that when i read it today.

Mind you we change sides all the time, depending on who interests us economically or politically

is 'crooked' anti-semite?  since when?  I have to say I'm not familiar with the (no doubt) enormous list of words that can be construed as being anti-semitic by those determined to do so.

Let's hope the Israeli fascists are reading your support for persecuted groups and get the fuck out of the Palestinian territories.

The "crooked Jew" is a well-known Jewish stereotype, but meh.

I hope Israel do withdraw from all the lands gained through war, the sooner they prove to the world that they're hated for who they are and not what they're doing, the better.

Well, you know what?  Once they've fucked off, paid reparations and apologised, you might find that you're wrong.  Don't be under any illusion that they'll be looked at as anything but the enemy in those countries.  They'll continue to be hated by the arabs.  With good reason.  But at least the rest of the world might once again turn a blind eye.

Israel shuts Dr Gilbert out from Gaza for life

Published: 14 Nov 2014 01:30 GMT+01:00

Norway's doctor of peace for Gaza, Mads Gilbert, has been hit by a lifetime ban from entering the region by the Israeli government on Thursday.

Israeli authorities cited security reasons as to why they have shut doctor Gilbert out from the Gaza Strip.

The Norwegian 67-year-old has travelled to and from Gaza to treat Palestinians. This summer, the chief physician who lives and works in North Norway, was back working at Shifa hospital, Gaza, where he treated over 50 days many of the 11,000 injured.

The doctor was attempting to return to the region in October to help in the hospital and was stopped by Israeli officials from entering.

Gilbert says: “When we came back to the Erez border station, the Israeli soldiers told me that I could not go in to Gaza.”

Now the Israeli government is stating it is for security reasons that Gilbert is banned, according to an email from the Norwegian embassy in Tel Aviv. The embassy took up the case on Gilbert's behalf after he was refused entry last month.

Norway's Secretary of State, Bård Glad Pedersen, said to VG: “From the Norwegian perspective, we have raised Gilbert's exclusion from Gaza and asked Israel to change their decision. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is still difficult and there is a need for all health workers.”

Gilbert himself believes the decision is connected to his critical comments against the state of Israel.

The outspoken peace activist wrote a letter to the global media in July this year, evoking the extreme conditions at the Gaza hospital he worked in.

Who is doctor Mads Gilbert?
  • Born in Oslo, 1947.
  • Head physician specialising in anesthesiology at University Hospital of North Norway.
  • Over 30 years working in international conflict areas, especially Gaza.
  • Awards include Fritt Ords Honorary Prize (2009).
  • Appointed Commander to the Order of St Olaf (2013).
  • Received PhD at University of Iowa.

Yeah, especially by all those Israelis that criticise them, the anti-semetic cunts.

They aren't going to withdraw. Your hope is naive and drastically misplaced as is your judgement of the geopolitics, the Israeli leadership and the population.

Stop calling people anti-semetic. It's pathetic, undermines you as a poster and undermines genuine attempts to call out anti-semites. It's a cunts trick.
