I've just re read this entire thread, it equates to Simon being a genius lunatic and the fact that there's literally nothing left that can happen to Longos Tag.

tell me about it. It tells the right time, but the face has had a stroke.

I was going to buy a tag huer once that was priced at £1350 knocked down to £975. I thought what a fucking bargain until I realised I was paying 900 quid more than a cheaper watch that would tell the time daily just as well.

Amazes me how many people don't appreciate a good G Shock. There was a deal for a G Shock classic on hotukdeals the other day, rectangle design as worn by Schwarzenegger in the running man, and the comments were like 'looks cheap', 'kids watch'.

Fuck right off.

It's the only watch I wear. I have quite a few and I've put them through all sorts, they just don't die which is handy as I'm a clumsy bastard at the best of times.

Just picked up a new one myself, I really like 'em; tough, chunky and inexpensive. A G-Shock or large fairly indestructible watch paired with a decent leather bund are my preferences these days. I stuck an old Timex Expedition on a wide bund and it's the most comfortable thing in the world.

Yeah I'm after a Timex next, something simple for when I go away, just a simple black leather strap - not in to croc effect.
