I can’t see a scenario that sees him in the hossie and in ICU for the time he was, without being on a ventilator.

How embarrassing that we as a culture, which Johnson sees himself the epitome of, take the piss out of the North Korean propaganda stories, such as holes in one and the rest, but it seems that our “leader” has done the same to attempt to create a certain identity for himself, while misleading the population during the most serious situation I’ve ever seen.

There are other tools they’d try before ventilating e.g., CPAP, nasal high flow therapy.

I have friends in the north east of England. So from old mining towns that have been decimated by the tories for years.

One of turn recently posted a picture on Facebook of both Churchill and Boris Johnson standing side by side. With the caption

"the two best prime ministers in No 10,ever"

This was only 2 days ago......

Churchill I can understand, but Johnson. Really?? The guts of 20,000 people have died on his watch, and people really think he's doing a great job.

I'd hate to see what he'd have to do to the British people to be deemed to be a tad bit shit at what he does

Do you think they will wait till the numbers start really dropping before introducing Boris back like a saviour whose leadership has taken control of this nasty pandemic and now we are winning.

Exactly,  Boris back and sorts it out, and the public will fall for it.

Government approval rating is 68%. The BBC has been throwing Roses at his feet for the past month so the popularity of Johnson is hardly surprising

They’ve backed him, some have swung from labour to Tory, it’s a hell of a thing to admit you were wrong, so some

will continue to back the fat prick, same with Trump, happens countless times in history. Bet there were more than a few Germans who thought fuck me this fella, taking it a bit too far like in the 30’s but wtf you gonna do once you’ve elected the fucker? Revolt? Nah, Netflix and chill. Somebody else will change it.

Sad part is,  it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference.

Nor will replacing him with another Tory cunt.

I know yeah. When the alternative is some cunt like Gove or the witch then yeah fuck that. Keep the loveable lazy rogue buffoon in so he can really drive the country into the fucking mud.

Another day off for Boris.  This is his ninth day off since leaving hospital.  That's the same as Ferris Bueller had in a whole semester.

If he's had a bad case of it, it's very understandable as it takes a while to recover.

In saying that, Boris is the very definition of a chancer. Probably at hope watching Winston Churchill YouTube compilations, with his cock out and a Union Jack flag in his hand.

I live in the North East. This is an anecdotal thing, clearly, but he and the Tories in general are very popular up here now, it’s fucking sickening.

Yeah I know that it can be nasty and take a while to recover, I just don't trust him.  I don't think he even wants to be PM at the moment, he doesn't fancy one bit of this in my opinion.  He's no leader.

Why isn't he paying his condolences to the hundreds dying every day on his watch?  The complete radio silence from this cunt is beyond the pale.

All up around your way to brownie. Consett in Durham, Peterlee, Stockton and East Cleveland. The mind boggles at their stupidity over this. I bring points up to them and they have two, go to replies.

And they usually consist of something to do with Muslims for some reason and at least Corbyn isn't there.

And one these guys wife is a nurse and has had to move out of the family home to avoid bringing the virus home.

I fully expect him to be some national totem while this thing is ongoing.

When it subsides, when the smoke clears, there's either going to be ongoing reliance on UC to support millions, or they will turn the tap off and change the mood music completely.

THIS, believe it or not, is the easy part.  He can't even be arsed to attend the easy part.

The hard part is unprecedented since 1945.  Pressing the 'start' button on the economy after 2 months off, it's going to take a huge amount of social structure to make it work, it's going to take a socialist government to make it work.  If the Tories turn into socialists, great news.  If they don't, all this falls to pieces very quickly, and Boris becomes a public enemy.

It's like an attractive girl , 90% of the fun is in the chase .

I'm not sure Johnson is that bothered about the job now he has attained it, particularly as indolence seems a major part of his make-up and the bits he enjoys like mingling with other leaders are off the table.

Yeah I get the impression he likes the prestige of the job title but not the job itself. He's not the type of bloke you'd want alongside you in the trenches.

Johnson is the product of his own particular system, Eton college, dad that apparently encouraged competition between brothers from an early age, a school/university culture of laddishness and one-upmanship (Cameron the girly swat, Osborne the oik) and a class system that mistakes being able to recite Latin parrot fashion as being intelligent.

He's clearly unscrupulous and willing to say or do anything to get ahead, in that culture winning is all that counts, what you do to get there is immaterial. Cameron and Osborne were no different, or Nick Clegg for that matter. May was some kind of weird Last Night at the Proms sycophant who had Union Jack Helsinki syndrome, they probably thought she was a complete mug.
