Had to laugh at one post i read

"We didn't deserve to loose. They have one late chance and took it,we didnt take ours"

So i take it Firmino didnt have one cleared off the line, one saved in a one on one and Roubles didnt save his volley from a corner then.

Or the other reply to one of there isn saying they were shite and shiwing the shot/possession and corner stats, that they didnt deserve to loose to a lucky goal,it was off a rebound so was unlucky.

Nutters the lot of them

Blaming everyone but the fact they are shite. 32% possession at home in the Derby. With most of that being the first 25 minutes

Seen some of them say they were fantastic early and the best they've played. If so they are fucked as they created one half chance

Can somebody find that post from GOT where the poster is bragging about how much money they have and how they're going to go to Madrid and slap down their money on the table for James Rodriguez?

It would be my pleasure:

"now let's say we get a few of the players we have been linked with in - the likes of Strootman (20m), Witsel (25m) and we go for Butland (30m) and VVD (30m), we buy Milik or Janssen for 15m

thats 120m spent, and probably looking at around 500k in wages (again a generous estimate)

leaves the club with 90m and 500k in wages still burning a hole in our lovely Iranians pocket, but no statement signing, just some very good ones that will make the team very competitive, say we then blow a 30m bid on Perisic (current flavour of the month after his Euro exploits and also a position we depserately need sorting) and we give him parity with rom on wages - so another 140k and 30m gone

we are then left with a 60m and 360 pw situation, to go out their and target a 'statement' signing for the club to propel us into the spotlight, go throw that at Madrid, offer them their asking price for James Rodriguez and see what they actually say when we slap the money on the table, and see what his agent says when we offer to double his current 110k pw wages.

Honestly it sounds mental even typing this out, but money talks in football, and if we are serious in making a statement then we couldn't make a bigger on than this"

I don't think a career in management accounting awaits for this fella

They best they've played all season is giving their all and managing to disrupt the mighty Redmen for 20-25 minutes. And who could argue. It was some feat. DVD to be pushed out for Christmas.

Why would he want to stay there

I can think of 2 things.

Money.

He is seen as the gem in their crown, therefore his ego is massaged regardless of how shit he is at times.

Then his agent should stop pretending that he has any ambition. Your only ambition at Everton is to try to win a derby every few years.

You forgot about being the star name on their Xmas DVD mate, a role equivalent to landing the Ballon d'Or.
