Very flexible guy, that Virginia, in goal and on the bench.

Maybe they put all their players through the books twice as some sort of FFP dodge.

I can't wait for the realisation that their new best in class stadium (whenever it gets finished) isn't the answer and millions of people aren't sailing and swimming up the Mersey to come see it.

Also, just seen they're playing Palace tonight, first fixture of the FA Cup, the most famous club cup in the world, two Premier League sides. No, it's not on BBC or Sky, not even ITV. Pushed out onto ITV4.

Such a draw aren't they.

Why are they playing today? Had assumed it would be for TV

What a bizarre stat to come up with.

Firstly, literally why does he care? We can afford it because we are one of the biggest clubs in world football. They can’t afford their transfers / wages because they are a set of paupers.

Secondly, do you think he researched this figure? Using this as a source…

Salary

 https://www.spotrac.com/epl/liverpool-fc/payroll/2020/

Transfers

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-liverpool/alletransfers/verein/31

Year - Salaries - Transfers - Total

20/21 - £105m - £58m - £163m

21/22 - £108m - £50m - £158m

22/23 - £161m - £71m - £222m

23/24 - £107m - £107m - £214m

So, even taking into account 4 seasons, it’s still c.£760m.

So unless The Ev were in profit by c.£240m  over the same period, which based on them being deducted points for breaching loss amounts, I significantly doubt, it’s also very, very wrong.

Haha it is. Why ITV have bought the rights to shove it on ITV4 is anyone’s guess.

They are deemed less of a draw than Emmerdale, Harry Potter, Dinner Date and Vera.

They're the only fan base who care. You know that. Just like they're the ones that love their club.

It's important to remember someone who was born and not manufactured. So their dead actually die, unlike ours who are taken down to the local recycling centre as we were manufactured.

Sad isn't it

It is all part of their coping strategy for the laughing stock, joke of a club they have become.

They have nothing to shout about, nobody gives a toss about them, they are an irrelevance and they are close to 30 years without winning a thing....

So to try and block all that out they create a ridiculous amount of noise around all this sort of shite.....the grand old lady, the peoples club, born not manufactured, we go the game, the absokutely ridiculous list of firsts, even how they bang on about this new ground isn't normal behaviour....blah blah fucking blah.

It is literally all they have to hold onto - the funny thing is nobody else gives a shite about it all.

I like this reply and the chain it triggers...

A fan of a top 20 turnover club in the world crying because they can’t spend as much as top5. So cheating is fine, even if there are thousands of clubs with less turnover - who the cheating makes things harder for. It’s not concern for football, as Everton piss on the thousands of clubs below them, but the deluded feeling of a rightful place at the top. Everton are a cancer stain on football.

The songs about corruption appear to have died on their arse, which probably explains why they’ve changed tack to the run by six aspect, on the hope other clubs will

join in.

The replies to this gent from Everton fans in general is fucking pathetic, they are actual lunatics who think that everything is designed to keep them caged from becoming the best team ever.

There are a lot of London based ties this week I'm sure I heard the Met asked for one to be moved to tonight so there resources aren't stretched to thin .

Whoever the female pundit is on their game tonight can fuck off. Calvert Lewin went studs up on Clyne but only caught him a little bit so shouldn't be red. Fuck Right Off. Any further into his leg its a breaker.

It’s been called Emmerdale for the last 30 years. It takes less time to say now.

Hopefully a loss to celebrate 29 years without a trophy and a few injuries to derail their survival bid

Not quite the defeat, but a 3-match ban for Calvert-Lewin, McNeil injured and Gueye off to Africa sets them up nicely for the next few league games.

Yeah, poor tackle that. It was a pure accident he got the ball.

Bollocks. The games gone.

No force at all and barely makes contact and we’re re-refereeing games to force red cards where there isn’t one.

that’s a dreadful decision and the game steadily gets worse.
