Actually even though the rest of the film is wank, when I saw the first scene of Transformers, I was pretty blown away. The scene with the helicopter that takes out the army base.

 

Actually to be honest, the opening scene in the animated film from the 80's is pretty mint where Unicron eats the planet.

I love the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs. It tells you about everyone around the table. Its so simple with QT's usual brilliant dialogue. It even sets up the feud between White and Blonde.
