Leto & Anderson Both Been Sold

Not seen these posted anywhere, and the stories aren't worth pasting onto here, but Leto has signed for Panathinaikos, and Paul Anderson has signed for Nottingham Forest. No fee's have been disclosed, but looking back over the rumour talk, apparently we have recieved around £3m for Leto, and nearly £1m for Anderson. Decent bit of money to go into the kitty.

Anderson signed a new contract last summer, until 2011.

 

I think Hammill will also be sold.

Astrit Ajdarevic has also joined Leicester. Must have been his last day on the pitch celebrations which won him the move because it can't have been his 25 minutes of football!

Bit dissapointed with the Anderson sale to be honest, especially at the quoted price. I always thought if we had kept him and used him like Pennant was used here and there he maybe could have made good and also saved on Pennants wages when he wasn't doing anything at all in his last season with us if we had sold him, he was the standout performer in the youth team in that first fa youth cup win and always seemed to have good things said about him. Obviously you never know with kids when you put them into the first team but I don't think he would have let anyone down. Hopefully we've inserted a buy back clause or a sell on fee of some sort. Good luck to the lad.

After speaking to two mates that are Forest Season ticket holders, they both rated Anderson but said he lacked the final ball and the constancy to play at the very top level, and doubted he ever be good enough to play in the premiership.

Remember reading on here that Paul Anderson wore a black armband individually on the Hillsborough anniversary. Had a lot of respect for him for that, sounds like a good character. I wish him luck wherever he goes.
