That's not quite true Taggart went for him two previous seasons before us.

 

The reason he never went was he said he wasn't ready to move away yet.

 

Taggart was asked about why he never went for him this season and he said well we tried to sign him twice and he didn't want to leave.

 

Let's just hope he goes on to progress in his second season here as now all the defenders know what he can do.

 

To be honest, I'd be more worried if I was a defender, as now Nando knows who they CANNOT do.

 

The lad has so much in his game, you stop him running, he'll beat you in the air, you stand off him he'll leather one from 25 yards, you play a high line, he'll murder you with pace.

 

Also from a GK's point of view he muct be a nightmare as he doesnt have any "preferred" method of finishing, left foot, right foot, dink it over, pass it in ala Fowler, belt it, round the keeper the variety of his goals is truly what sets him apart.

He's amazing. Think how good he would be if he had the support of 2 or 3 more accomplished attacking players supporting him, rather than only Gerrard consistently doing it.

 

On a negative not, Torres smashed his penalty over the bar and cost me the Champions League yesterday on Football Manager.
