You see comments from their fans on Facebook, Twitter etc. You have a certain section, the type who could find Manchester on a map, who would welcome him back with open arms, then you have local divvies saying he was found not guilty by the courts, still with the girl and had a kid and therefore he's innocent.

There's a weird African (some have said narrowed down to Nigeria) subsection of twitter that seems to go fucking mental about it and are desperate to see him back.

I'm guessing it's some sort of bot farm type situation that's being used to drive traffic, just a shame some of the messaging is so fucked up from them.

Mane/Salah had a similar pocket of interaction that's always seemed off.

Im not sure it’s bots. There is a weird section of African Twitter that is very aggressive about anything they’re in favour of.

They were highly prevalent when that journalist accused Klopp of dissing AFCON because he used the phrase ‘small matter of’ and they couldn’t accept/get their head round the concept that it was used meaning the opposite. No matter how much it was explained to them. Manufactured complaint.

Greenwood should be shot into the sun and should never play for United again.

But, why is he the line that can’t be crossed when these “look at me, I’m stopping supporting United” fans were prepared to tolerate Ryan Giggs? And when they’ve got a big statue outside their ground which features a man who broke a woman’s nose and his own wife’s arm and sexually assaulted his own son, albeit while stinking drunk?

Why wasn’t actively championing a serial domestic abuser something that made these people withdraw their support? Does their outrage and tolerance of domestic violence fluctuate dependant on the ability or legendary status of the perpetrator?

Hypocritical biffs.

And, please don’t misinterpret this as a defence of Greenwood. It’s clearly not.

The same clowns that are scrambling to justify him getting back on the team are same ones who comment on any stories/posts in which Carra featured saying he should never work in football again after spitting at someone.

Utd are absolutely covering themselves in glory during this whole process. Listing and categorising friendly and non-friendly journo's, pundits, players (categorising domestic abuse charities as hostile to them). Some staff considering quitting/striking.

I'd love to see who was categorised as supportive,

Couldn't have held on until after City had spent 100 million on him?

Bet this gets sorted quicker than the 6 year investigation into City or the Everton soon to be Chelsea investigations. Reckon he's gets a more severe punishment too

Shame on Riley for not knowing in 2013 that Giggs would be accused of assault in 2021.

She's always praised him as her favourite ever Man Utd player and he was chosen especially to present her with the shirt on countdown over any other player, he used to just hang around by then to play his 8 games to win a title or get in the record for playing in the PL in consecutive seasons rather than signing for Everton.

But she never said anything when he got found out shagging his sister in law or when he's been exposed as a domestic abuser. Even though it was after he finally packed in you'd think she may have said something that she feels let down by him etc.

Mason Greenwood is just an up and coming youth player and bot one of their greatest ever players yet she's adamant she won't even support the club if he plays again.

Giggs is nothing to do with United these days, so I'm not sure what good boycotting them over Giggs would do, however she got rid of the Giggs shirt.
