It's grimly fascinating that the right has basically hollowed itself to the point all that's left are half wits and mentalists. Any 'talent' there was on the Tory benches has long since gone.

 

Read a thing a few weeks back about some place in California that'd been overrun by Maga types and it was basically falling apart because the likes of the police chief and top doctor had been hounded out and either not replaced or replaced with idiots.

 

This is essentially what's happened with the Tory leadership race. You can see a lot of their MPs looking at each other basically wondering how it came down to this.

 

It's like in the final days of Berlin. All the 6'2 SS dudes with the David Coulthard jawlines have been squashed unto T-34s outside Leningrad, and all you're left with is someone's blind granddad and the local barber carrying petrol bombs to defend the place.
