What do we not like now? Rochdale fans celebrated getting a replay at Wembley, or Spurs having Wembley as their temporary home this season?

For me quite simply that the magic of wembley in the cup is another victim of the shitness of modern footy.

It was bad enough IMO that the semis were there and like in 2012 for example LFC and EFC fans were asked to trek down there for a 1230 kick off....add in Spurs using it as a home this season (something I personally don't think they should have been allowed to do) - home advantage in a cup final!?

Isn't about Rochdale or Newport getting a day out directly - that is not their fault - for me it is about killing the magic, the cup was all about getting to wembley for that final wasn't it...now a team could play there 3 times in the comp this year (Spurs even more)

For my money it is shite.

UEFA contributed to the FA Cup losing its magic. First by doing away with the Cup Winners Cup and second by the growth of the Champions League. The tv companies also helped diminish it. FA Cup final day was wall to wall tv from about 10.30 to 5.30 on both tv channels. Clubs also pulling out to big up world cup bids and fielding second string teams. Small clubs used to be able to switch games to bigger grounds to get more money. Good luck to Rochdale and their fans. Hope they enjoy their night at Wembley and do not begrudge them one bit.

Milan v Sampdoria coming up. Incidentally Sampdoria is the amalgamated names of two former clubs. Doria who were once early pacesetters in Italy and Sampionese I think who were a bit of a lesser club. Milan are called Milan and not Milano because they were formed by Englishmen. True that.

Doria were formed by Italians and not Englishmen otherwise they would now be called Doris.
