Pastore is a footballing god, but he's like Sturridge in that you can't ever rely on him to be fit. Also, he'd never be sold. He's a Qatari favourite as he was their first "marquee" signing. 

 

Matuidi and Lucas are average, wouldn't want them.

He's been great in Spain. He's not the same player he was at Stoke. Once he moved to a team who actually use the ball, he's been able to express himself a lot more. He's actually very good on the ball, as well as being a big physical presence. I'd take him here for sure.

The player was watched several times, before the report was filed back that he wasn't considered good enough to move to Manchester United. "He's good, but not quite quick enough and his head is too big for his body," was the verdict on the then 21-year-old playmaker. Isco, however, continued to blossom.

I've watched him a bit. He's been decent, I've seen nothing myself to suggests he's great. I certainly think he would improve us though.

Seems like Ferguson and his scouts approached players as if they were racehorses.
