Was over for a week in Paris and hopped the 1020 Paris Bercy-Auxerre to take in a match on the banks of L'Yonne at the Abbey Deschamps. Ended 2-2 with Auxerre equalizing on a penalty late on. LeTallec never got in as I'm sure everyone is wondering about that and was all in all a pretty decent match. The ASSI support was quite good and belted out for 90 mins straight all whilst being taped by some sort of french police in Adidas blue trackies. Took the missus and she was a bit skittered when we walked through the st etienne support before the match outside the ground due to a flare and crates of Kronenburg everywhere and a few displays of public urination. Ho…

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2010/mar/17/manchester-united-home-anfield-1971 On Friday 20 August 1971 a team wearing red walked out at Anfield to rapturous applause from supporters bedecked in red and white scarves and standing on the Spion Kop. Their opponents were Arsenal, who had beaten Bill Shankly's side 2-1 in the FA Cup final to secure the double in May of the same year. But the home side were not Liverpool. They were Manchester United. Hidden deep within the pages of football's dustiest history books lurks a dark secret – or so it appears. The club that now boasts 18 league titles, the same number as Liverpool, could once call Anfield its home, j…

I've booked trains down for a mate & me, our two or three usual routes to try to get a couple of tickets have all ended in failure unfortunately. Would anyone be able to help with one or two tickets, we don't have to be sitting together or anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated & repaid in the form of pints. Cheers.

I searched. Couldn't find anything. I've abstained for over a year and a half. I was dead paranoid my ex would see me online and then be a cunt over access to my daughter. Anyway I signed up for Match on some free thingy but I've now gone on tinder and fuck me it's the maddest thing ever. It's weirdly addictive and I am an addict. Like a mad hand held video game. But with real people you end up in bed with. There's one I'm messaging now who is so cool. Quite left wing in her politics. Massive cans. Says she is compkettky submissive but none of that "50 shades of bullshit" But wants me to be her master in the bedroom. My mate went out with a sub. Stinging nettles in her k…

What could have been the greatest game/rivalry that never took place. The rivalry between the Milan side of the late eighties with the dutch trio,Maldini,Baresi etc against the liverpool sides Kennys assembled in the late eighties could well be it for me.

I'm aware of how much of a long shot this is. My nephew uses his dad's best mates season ticket as he had two. He sadly passed away in December from covid. His widow was happy for my nephew to carry on using the ticket. Jack went to every round including the non glory ones like Shrewsbury. Now she has suddenly demanded the ticket back saying she wants to go to the final. Obviously I'm sympathetic in a way but also her husband would be fuming, he treated my nephew like his own son. So now my 17 year old nephew is heart broken and ticketless. I know how hard spares are to get and also that the ballot hasn't been done yet. But it does no harm to ask

Can anyone recommend a decent gym in or around town? Would need car parking and reasonable fees. Just for some CV work and a few weights two or three times a week in the morning on my way into work. Somewhere that isn't full of juice heads or posers. ta
