It's more a case of it's not his fault that we're playing him.  I'd love to know what Rodgers was thinking going into the season with Sturridge, Balotelli and Lambert.  Which would have been the case if Borini left when he was told too.  Sturridge was always going to get injured and the other two are slightly more mobile than a lamp post.

He tried to sell him all summer, so he obviously doesn't rate him that highly.  So then to sub him on and start him in 2 of the 3 games since the window shut makes no fucking sense.

Its fairly clear now why we wanted to get rid. He was half decent for Sunderland and I like many thought he should be getting another chance but there's been nothing at all to see in anything hes done that up to the mark. I guess he will get a run out against Boro and if he can't look decent against them hes a lost cause

Simply not good enough for us. Same with Lucas. It is a waste of a player. We may as well have started with 9 men against west ham. Borini just fucking runs round offering nothing. I don’t dislike the lad but I wish he would just fuck off somewhere else and run around. Lambert should have started over him, same against Ludogrets. He deserves his chance over Borini far more.

I've tried to be upbeat and positive about Borini all along, but now all I can think is "Don't let the door hit you on the arse."

 

Shame he was never that good.  I really do like that goal celebration.  It would have been nice to get the chance to get used to it.
