Should we mention that Klopp took 5 months and £5m to get to the Final of the League Cup?

Having added just Caulker on loan, and with Grujic being signed for £5m and loaned back to Red Star, Klopp took the players he inherited to the final of both the League Cup and the Europa League.

Shite fans talking shite about usmanov having no connection with Putin.

Like any guest with £18 billion to spend, Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov has had little problem making a comfortable second home for himself in Britain. Or, to be precise, two second homes – the metals tycoon divides his time between Beechwood House, a £50 million mansion in north London, and Sutton Place, a Tudor pile in Surrey once owned by Jean Paul Getty.

Yet like many of the Russian billionaires with boltholes in so-called “Londongrad”, he seems equally comfortable with life back in Vladimir Putin’s Moscow, where the Russian leader is a personal acquaintance. As he once told Forbes magazine: “I am proud that I know Putin, and the fact that everybody does not like him is not Putin’s problem.”

They'd rather be relegated than see us win the league so will roll over for Man City on Saturday.  The only slight chance of that not happening is if fat Frank challenges them on it, and the only chance of that happening is if an LFC friendly journalist challenges fat Frank on it.

Is it our fault yet? or as it always been? Did we beat Leeds just to make life harder for them or some shit?

One poster complained that we’ve made it a title race with City, so City will try harder against them now…

Couid be a mad last day,
Hopefully we’re safe.
But Brentford home to Leeds
Burnley home to Newcastle
Funny how the title race is on..

And the relagation battles are still on, when both looking done and dusted a few weeks ago.

Deffo not bent though..

I feel like they’re taking the piss putting our fixtures on last out of all the relegation battling teams for the next 4 weeks. Like they’re deliberately trying to add that bit of extra pressure onto us.

Hinges on fixtures from Spurs - Palace, we may be blessed and miracle a point of City. Our friendly neighbourhood Orks have done us no favours turning the title in to a competition.

Middle of March - Midfle of April is key, we may have a couple of double game weeks in there.

Games Vs Burnley, Newcastle, Brentford and Watford could be huge.

Brentford v Newcastle & Palace v Burnley both before their game v City on Saturday.

They could be in the bottom 3 by the time they kick off.

Even so, 2 points max away from the drop zone at kick off, surely they can’t be happy rolling over on Saturday and recognise they need the points.

Their supporters need to realise if they go down, like Leeds, they won’t be back for a long time.

How dare we? And to think, this is coming from the supporter of a club who have been piss-poorly protesting at them being mediocre (or worse) for the last 27 years.

It would be the absolute worst time for them to get relegated. Heavily in debt but somehow avoiding FFP punishments, unlike Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City did in the Championship.

About 79/80% of their income is swallowed up by wages with a squad that only has 3 or 4 players they could sell for half decent money. If they go down those players will want to leave and the club will have to accept less than what they thought they would.

Parachute payments will stop

either this season or next and then somehow they need to finance a stadium worth up to £700m given it is six years in April since they said they were going to build it. But there's still no announcement of how they are paying g for it. Who would lend them money if they had no regular PL income from the TV deal. They haven't qualified for Europe for 5 years and won't this season.

Also with the dodgy sponsorship deals from Russian companies coming under possible sections they will have little or no income..

Some of the Everton tweets under this. They truly are mental.

Absolutely bizarre mentality.

You’d think, even though I get they’d be pissed we’d won, they’d be relieved we absolutely hammered a relegation rival and more concerned with Burnley’s revival.

Their biggest problem is associating themselves with us at every opportunity. Until they change that, they won’t achieve anything.
