Burrow about to get sacked 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage literately threw the ball into the ground to prevent being sacked.  The laws are a joke.  In recent years QB's have had all the laws go in their favour, they've almost become an untouchable protected species.  The current law is not fit for purpose.  Throwing a pass 10 yards over the head of a reciever to prevent a sacking also is just blatant as what Burrow did.  It needs stamping down on and become a 15 yard penalty repeat down or additional 5 yard penalty additional down.  All laws are subjective.  The pass incompletion was a farce last season & thankfully has been relaxed. This deliberate throwing away of the ball to prevent a clear sack occuring is another that needs sorting for next season. Be a man and take the sack ffs OR take the penalty like a coward.
