Korean authorities seem to cope much better with Corona than they did with the monster fish with legs in The Host. A learning curve?

It was cooler to die by the monster fish with legs though.

Apparently the reason that they haven't taken this action yet is because people would get bored of obeying and that would lead to a double peak, which is the worst possible outcome.

I don’t think that was a big secret given they talked about it, and the reasoning, in the joint press conference yesterday.

Update from Italy is insane, 168 new deaths, almost a 1,000 new cases. 631 people dead. In France 30 dead. Germany

Italians are a very touchy feely people. Thats my totally uneducated guess anyway.

How is this lockdown in Italy going to work?

How restrictive is it? Can you go to the grocery store? Are the grocery stores being restocked?

Are the utility workers still out there ensuring the water runs and the electricity flows?

take a look for yourself

We went to Asda to do our normal shop today. We go once a week and dont act the twat. They were clean out of bog paper, pasta, tea bags but most other stuff was ok although there wasnt many tins of baked beans on the shelf.

At the checkout, the girl today us about one chap who'd bought 8 multi packs of bog paper. Why the fuck did they let him do that? Oh, we're limiting people to just 2 packs now. Well yeah but you've fucking sold out so fat lot of good that does until the next delivery.

I dont like to use the word rationing but what about the pensioners who dont have the money to buy shit loads of stuff and have two weeks worth of everything in their house? No bog paper and the poor saps cant always make a daily journey to the store to see if they have a pack in.

Apparently, several national football governing bodies have asked UEFA to consider making Euro20 into Euro21, postponing it for a year, so that national leagues can be completed at a later stage than usual, if necessary.

I think thats too logical an idea for them cunts.

Sometimes it's more enjoyable to clean your bumhole in the shower anyway.

Agreed. Twist the head (of the shower) to full power and you’re sluiced out in no time. Fuck Rog and his double bidet.

Both New Jersey and New York have declared states of emergencies.

In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the most rigorous actions to date to combat the spread in New Rochelle, which he described as the "most significant cluster in the country" and accounts for the lion's share of the surging caseload in the tri-state area.

Those measures include deploying National Guard troops to a Health Department command post and setting up a satellite testing facility and one-mile, two-week containment area in the city. Public schools in that containment zone will be closed through March 25; National Guard troops will help clean surfaces and deliver food in that one-mile radius.

Mook turned his nose up to the 3 sea-shells. Apparently he managed to get 4241 up there at the last attempt.
