Holy fucking shit

Well, that's what SD was saying I think. That he thinks those slinging antisemitic terms around think it's okay because they see the targeted Jews as white and inherently believe they can't be racist against them. I disagree with Stronts. I think those being antisemitic are doing it because they're hateful shitbags who dislike people because they're Jews. I also think many of those being called out for antisemitism clearly aren't.

I agree. Just blown away by the stupidity of that take, and what it insinuates

I know the history of the time period. Indentured slaves were slaves. They were owned by the slave owners in the same way chattel slaves were owned. The indentured servitude could be extended easily in a court of law by the owner. They were SLAVES and the children that were born to them were also slaves.

Look for anything on Indentured Servitude being extended in America during the 1600's. Look for the Sugar Plantation Irish slaves in the Caribbean. Read about the laws pre-Jamestown.

I've just given you a load of sources claiming it's a myth.

The difference between Abbott and someone like Boris Johnson is that the former had the good grace to apologise and seems to have modified her behaviour the more she has moved into the public eye.

Also, in any situation where there is oppression - either current or historic - Abbott's instincts are to side with the oppressed and Johnson's sympathies are with the oppressor.

Now, who was that bloke who said that thing about being judged on the content of your character and notthe colour of your skin?

What's racist about stating facts?

They're not facts, mate.

They're just some made up shit with no evidence and you're repeating them back as they fit into your worldview

Feel free to post some links to prove yourself right

Prove any of the things I've said wrong then. Go on.
